Sir David Wootton, Assistant Grand Master, introduces the Members' Pathway

One of the objectives in our UGLE Strategy 2015-2020 to secure the future of Freemasonry, was to improve our structure for the attraction and retention of members. In order to deliver on that objective we have prepared the Members’ Pathway.

The Members’ Pathway is a structured 11-step approach for Lodges to follow in order to attract, introduce and retain new members.

The Members’ Pathway leaflet provides an overview of the approach.

Each Step is summarised in the Members’ Pathway Steps 1-11. This is a useful reference document for all Lodge members.

The fully comprehensive guide is aimed at those Lodge officers and members who are actually using the Members’ Pathway. It includes the Step Guides, which describe what to do at each Step, and all their Support documents, describing how to do it.  Together these provide details of the processes to follow to develop a Lodge and to attract, introduce and retain new members. This fully comprehensive guide is designed to be used online as a reference tool.
